Serving you guys major country-chic vibes for today’s #OOTD. I swear, my body is in Austin, but my spirit is farrr away in NYC- my absolute favorite city in the country. Since I won’t be able to make my way out there until later this summer, I decided to merge Texas and New York together in one look and voila….this is what I came up with! Who says you can’t be modern and stylish with a Southern flare??!
Ya’ll, it’s May 1st….May 1st!!! Can you believe it? I feel like this year is flying by and with 4 months already behind us, I hope you guys have had the opportunity to tackle a few things on your “New Years Resolutions” list and have already accomplished some of those goals you set at the beginning of the year.
Move over tank tops, one shoulder sleeve blouses are slowly becoming my favorite type of shirts to wear! Because of the warm weather, I have been loving having my arms out. It’s like I can BREATHE- something every 9.5 months pregnant women wants! I have always been a fan of crochet, so the crochet trim on this blue/white patterned top instantly caught my eye.
I decided to pair the blouse with a basic navy maxi skirt. Because the skirt is more on the fitted side, it kept the fit of the outfit balanced considering the blouse is a little looser. This technique helps to keep me from feeling like a whale! LOL I actually purchased this skirt years ago and I still rock it every Spring and Summer like it’s new. It’s long, comfortable, fits perfectly and totally inexpensive!
Happy Monday loves, hope you all are having a great and productive Monday! I am feeling GREAT and have gotten so much done this morning! 🙂 I received so much love on my Instagram last week over this White dress so I had to share the details with you all, on the blog. I purchased this dress from Forever 21 a couple of weeks ago because I was planning to wear it for my Maternity pictures. Cortes and I ended up going in a different direction, but I was so IN LOVE with the dress that I decided to wear it on a beautiful Spring date day with Hubbs!
Hey loves, it’s Alisha and today’s look features my fave boots and ruffle sweatshirt dress that I have been loving as of late! I am trying to get my last wear out of these OTK (over the knee) boots, since Spring is rapidly approaching and it’ll be all about sundresses and sandals soon. I love the look and fit of these black boots because they are so warm and comfortable, which is perfect for a girl like me since all I care about at this point in my pregnancy is COMFORT!
